What WILL Your Yoga Do For You?

Yoga doesn’t give us anything we don’t already have. Yoga brings out things or qualities we already possess, I have often heard of it described as a process of remembering, not learning. Also practicing yoga with Intention is key, being specific about what you hope to gain is necessary, below are a few of my personal intention statements.


Yoga WILL help me connect with my body.

Yoga WILL guide the journey within.

Yoga WILL show me my own strength.

Yoga WILL help me know myself.

Yoga WILL help me see the perfectly imperfect being that I am because perfection does not exist.

Yoga WILL show me that I love myself no matter what.

Yoga WILL show me that I am in charge of my own emotions.

Yoga WILL attract positive thoughts.

Yoga WILL help me forgive myself for mistakes and grow into my future.

Yoga WILL help me forgive others I may perceive as hurting me.

Yoga WILL make me more resilient.

Yoga WILL help me live in the present.

Yoga WILL help me harness the power I have within myself.

Yoga WILL remind me that every single day is a brand new beginning.

Yoga WILL help me create a great day. Today is a great day to have a great day!

Yoga WILL help me center myself.

Yoga WILL help me feel confident.

Yoga WILL make me feel grounded and whole.

Yoga WILL NOT force or fake positivity for those around me.
