I always emphasize how much our words matter and I never realize that more than after hearing from my students. I am honored to share more of these words of love with you from a brave Stroke survivor that in conjunction with his stroke was beginning a courageous journey surviving brain cancer, that ultimately ended his life rather quickly, but sharing those last days with him doing yoga and connecting will forever be one of the greatest experiences of my life. Knowing Jimmy was an absolute honor and privilege.

“I just wanted to let you know that I feel awesome, yesterday’s session was amazing. What you have done for me is truly amazing. I could only imagine where I would be if I had met you pre-stroke. I understand that everything happens for a reason, but what you have taught me is truly amazing. My body feels great and I slept like a baby last night. I’m looking forward to going outside and relaxing enjoy the beautiful day.”

“I have also noticed that working with you has changed my breathing without even thinking about it. I found myself to be taking deep belly breaths while listening to my music. I was so relaxed. Thank you for all you have done for me. I really feel a difference.”

“My hips were so loose and open that I ended up walking over two miles yesterday and have walked over one mile today. As stressful as my life is right now, my mind is at ease and my body feels good.”

“Double thumbs up on yesterday’s session! As weird as it may seem, as hard as you pushed me to stretch and move, for some reason I expect to be sore the next day, but I never am. Keep pushing me to get me better. I greatly appreciate it!”
