Angelia and Rachel will be bringing this 4 week session(Link Above) of co-teaching online chair yoga class to the stroke community with a breath emphasis.
Angelia Abouhassan is the owner of The breath lady project, a personal journey of her own recovery, while inspiring others a stroke survivor using the breath.
She is a stroke survivor, a mother, and wife.
Also a certified breath instructor
and trauma informed practitioner

Meet Rachel
Rachel, a 15-year stroke survivor and Yoga Alliance certified teacher, is dedicated to creating inclusive classes for individuals who may feel unsure if yoga is for them. Whether it’s through a group class, small session, or private offering, she’s committed to showing everyone that yoga is accessible and beneficial. Initial consultations or sample classes are always free.

Yoga Teacher Training
This 4 part training offers an in-depth exploration of yoga covering essential aspects such as philosophy, foundational poses, breathing techniques, language, and the body’s energy systems. This is a welcoming and accessible introduction 200 hour training, designed to make yoga approachable for ALL!
This can be taken individually or all 4 for yoga alliance certification. Scholarship opportunities available!

Small Group Yoga
Designed for groups of 2–8 people, these tailored sessions encompass gentle, moderate, and energizing yoga practices. From restorative yoga to invigorating flows, participants discover an approach that meets their individual needs, all within a supportive and uplifting community atmosphere.

Stroke Yoga
Stroke Yoga provides accessible sessions focused on enhancing balance, stability, and body awareness. This inclusive offering allows each participant to explore yoga at their own pace and comfort level, promoting gradual progress in a supportive environment. Both chair and floor options are available.
