At My Yogawill Stroke Yoga Boulder sessions offer a supportive, accessible approach for stroke survivors to build physical strength, stability, and mental resilience. Each session focuses on gentle movements, balance-building postures, and breathwork, suitable for any experience level. This yoga for strokes program nurtures body awareness, mindfulness, and coordination, helping participants feel confident in their movement. With guidance from compassionate instructors, you’ll discover positive changes as you explore yoga’s potential for well-being and stroke prevention in a welcoming, community-focused environment.

4 weeks Stroke yoga Free lessons

  • Classes are available on Zoom or In-Home

  • Classes include a mix of posture poses (asana)

  • Linking breath with movement (vinyasa)

  • Balancing postures, breathing exercises (pranayama)

  • Chanting mantras, spiritual positive texts, and affirmations

  • Yoga Nidra, is great for the affected stroke side. Promoting rest and relaxation in the body. 

Each session in the Stroke Yoga program is thoughtfully crafted to meet the needs of stroke survivors, prioritizing exercises that build both physical and mental strength. The gentle yet effective postures focus on enhancing coordination, balance, and overall well-being, creating a safe space for participants to reconnect with their bodies. These movements foster a gradual, positive approach to rebuilding confidence and resilience. By encouraging the body-mind connection, yoga serves as a powerful tool for improved stability and self-awareness, offering a preventive approach to support overall health and stroke resilience in a welcoming community setting.

After 4 sessions if you want to continue:

  • You can pay $8 per 90 minute session for maintenance.

  • Or pay $55 a month for Stroke yoga club

  • Joining your fellow stroke survivors using yoga as a weekly tool for recovery.
